A resting electrocardiogram (ECG), also called, is a straightforward test that measures the signals of your heart. During this test, you will lie down in a calm environment while electrodes are attached to your chest, arms, and legs. These electrodes send the electrical signals to a machine that shows a waveform representation of your heart rhythm.
